Homemade Baked Garlic Herb Croutons

Fresh croutons are easy to make and they don't have to be bad for you.  Baking them makes them nice and crunchy and the garlic and herbs make them taste amazing.  These make any salad better.
Ingredients

End of crusty piece of bread, the crustier the better
1 clove of garlic
fresh rosemary
fresh thyme
salt and pepper
1 tbl olive oil.

Cut crusty loaf of bread into slices.  Cut it up into bite sized pieces.  Toss with the herbs, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil.  Let sit for 5 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350.

Put bread onto baking sheet and spread out.

Bake for about  6-8 minutes and then turn them.

Bake until golden brown, turning once or twice more during the process, keep an eye on them.

When you put them on your salad don't forget to get all the scrispy crushed garlic.  It roasts in the pan and adds a crunchy little pop to your salads. Only add it if it is golden brown, not burnt.
